The Manning School Deaf/Hard of Hearing Program serves approximately 20 students in Grade 4 and Grade 5. Students participate in all specials: Art, PE, Music, Library, and in academic classes in the general education program as determined by the students’ IEP’s. A Total Communication philosophy is followed, with both sign-included and oral-emphasis self contained classrooms as needed. The Manning School program continues the elementary school experience for students who attend North School and Miller School.
