The Miller School Deaf/Hard of Hearing Program serves approximately 20 students in Grade 2 and Grade 3.  Students participate in all specials: Art, PE, Music, Library, and in academic classes in the general education program as determined by the students’ IEP’s.  A Total Communication philosophy is followed, with both sign-included and oral-only self contained classrooms available as needed.  Deaf Culture activities, including ASL storytime, are an integral part of the program.  As students move into Grades 4 and 5, they attend the Manning School DHH Program, also within Westmont School District #201.
