Diagnostic Services Overview
Diagnostic Services for Low-Incidence Students
SASED provides the following services on behalf of the 92 districts/cooperatives in the DuPage/West Cook area:
- Audiologicals
- Low-Incidence Psychologicals
- Auditory Processing Screenings
- Ear mold services
- Specialized programs for early childhood through transition for students who are visually impaired, physically impaired, and deaf/hard of hearing.
LADSE operates the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Program at the secondary level
- HighSchool- Hinsdale South High School
- Transitional Services
SASED’s Eighteen Member Districts
In addition to the above services, SASED provides the following additional services on behalf of its 18 member districts (20, 25, 33, 34, 45, 48, 58, 60, 63, 66, 68, 69, 88, 94, 99, 180, 202, 205) in DuPage County and SASED operated programs.
- Functional assessments in the areas of: hearing, vision, & physical
- Itinerant services in the areas of: hearing, vision, & physical
- Interpreter services
Requests for all diagnostic/itinerant services will need to be forwarded to Nan Diamond. All students you would like to be considered to a specific program please contact the coordinator of the program directly. All referral forms are on-line and can be downloaded.
